The Institute of Sport

The Polish Institute of Sport has been established in Warsaw in November 1977 as an independent research unit and is holding the statute of National Research Institute since November 2015. Currently the Institute has around 80 employees, 20 researchers, 20 technical and administration staff and 40 employees dedicated to sport related projects. The motto of the Institute is “Science for sport, sport for science”, as in our daily work we try to implement the innovations of coming from science to the domain of sport.
